Bankinter S.A. and Bankinter Consumer Finance EFC, S.A., as data controllers, ensure full compliance with personal data protection law and regulations. Therefore, in accordance with the Spanish Personal Data Protection Act (Ley Organica 15/1999), the Subject is informed that their data will be introduced into the filing systems of Bankinter S.A. and Bankinter Consumer Finance EFC, S.A. and processed for the purpose of maintaining and managing the contractual relationship and the management of both companies. The Subject is also informed and consents to the processing of the personal data they have provided and of any other information to which either company may have access as a result of the Subject browsing websites, consulting, requesting or arranging any service or product or carrying out any transaction or operation. The data will be processed for the purpose of sending commercial communications, including digital commercial communications for the purposes of article 21 of the Information Society Services Act (Ley 34/2002), and marketing financial products, investment products and other products of Bankinter Group, or of any third-party institutions with which any Bankinter Group company may have entered into a partnership agreement, so that we may tailor our range of products and services to the Subject's specific profile. This data will be sent to Bankinter's commercial and technical services. Data identifying the subject or regarding their solvency need only be disclosed where required by the transaction. Meanwhile, all legally required information must be disclosed. Other voluntary data will be collected exclusively for the purposes set out in this paragraph.
Subjects are also informed that prevailing anti-money laundering law requires banks to obtain and verify information from customers on their economic activity. For those purposes, the Subject authorises Bankinter S.A. and Bankinter Consumer Finance EFC, S.A. to request, on their behalf, all relevant information regarding their economic activity from the General Treasury of the Social Security. All data obtained from the General Treasury of the Social Security will be used exclusively for the purposes described above. If the financial institution and/or the personnel that provide services at that institution breach this obligation, all actions contained in the Spanish Personal Data Protection Act and implementing regulations will be triggered.
The privacy policy of Bankinter S.A. and Bankinter Consumer Finance EFC, S.A. guarantees data subjects the rights of access, rectification, erasure and blocking and the right not to be the subject of decision-making in accordance with applicable law. The Subject accepts that their information may be disclosed, exclusively for the purposes mentioned in the first paragraph, to other Bankinter Group institutions primarily engaged in financial, insurance, property or telecommunications activities, to Bankinter Group subsidiaries and investees (detailed and updated information on the entities comprising Bankinter Group may be found on www.bankinter.com by clicking on âCorporate Websiteâ and then 'Corporate Governance', followed by 'Investees and Subsidiaries') and also to Fundacion Innovacion Bankinter (Bankinter Innovation Foundation). The Subject likewise accepts that the Bank or its subsidiaries and investees may send them information on any products or services they market and sell. The Subject's consent to the processing or disclosure of their data in the manner explained in this paragraph may be revoked at any time, without retroactive effect, in accordance with articles 6 and 11 of the Personal Data Protection Act. The Subject may, at any time, withdraw their consent or exercise any of the rights described above through any of the channels explained in the previous paragraph.
